01 / WHO WE ARE

BYPEP is a Lagos-based fashion label creating handcrafted, reconstructed denim pieces. This policy explains what data we collect when you use bypep.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions? Write to us at hello@bypep.com.

02 / WHAT WE COLLECT

Order details. When you buy a piece we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional) and delivery address so we can fulfil and deliver your order and send you a confirmation email.

Payment data. Payments are processed by Paystack. Your card or bank details go directly to Paystack — they never touch or get stored on our servers. We keep only the transaction reference, amount and payment status.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address to send you drops and updates. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Technical data. Like most websites, our infrastructure records basic request data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance.

03 / COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE

Essential. We use local storage and cookies that the site cannot work without: your cart contents, your cookie choice, and a session cookie if you log in to the admin. These are always on.

Analytics. With your consent, we use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed, how people find us — so we can improve it.

Marketing. With your consent, we use marketing cookies to show you relevant BYPEP campaigns on other platforms and measure how they perform.

You choose via the cookie banner on your first visit. Declining keeps the site fully functional — only essential storage is used. You can change your mind anytime by clearing this site's storage in your browser; the banner will ask again.

04 / HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

To fulfil and deliver orders, send order confirmations, respond to enquiries, send the newsletter you asked for, keep the site secure, understand site usage (with consent) and run marketing campaigns (with consent). We do not sell your personal data.

05 / RETENTION

Order records are kept as long as needed for fulfilment, accounting and legal obligations. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form.

06 / YOUR RIGHTS

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (and equivalent laws where you live), you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent for analytics and marketing at any time. Email hello@bypep.online and we will respond promptly.

07 / CHANGES

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
